It started very small with a stubborn dreamer
Seven years ago this was me… sitting at my kitchen table with an eBay serger I had absolutely no idea how to use, learning everything from YouTube, surrounded by piles of fabric, thread, and plenty of pieces I had already messed up and cut wrong.
There were a lot of late nights, a lot of trial and error, and a whole lot of learning the hard way. I ruined fabric. I re-sewed edges. I questioned if I was doing it right more times than I can count. But I kept going. I was stubborn and I really wanted to find a way to make it work. I learned quickly that every mistake was just another opportunity to learn and get better.
What started right here at that table slowly grew into something bigger than I ever imagined. First came confidence. Then consistency. Then the ability to hire a local sewer to do professional sewing for us. From there, we were able to move into printed silks that are now professionally sewn as well, and we’ve expanded our line into high-end jewelry and quality western clothing.
It didn’t happen overnight. It was built stitch by stitch, mistake by mistake, lesson by lesson.
This business has grown into something that’s giving my family opportunities we once prayed for. And it all started right here at a kitchen table with determination, faith, and the willingness to figure it out.
To those who have been with me from the very beginning — thank you. Your support means more than you know. I will always keep striving to offer better and better quality as we continue to grow.
This photo is 7 years old, and it reminds me that every big thing starts small. You just have to be willing to mess up.
